Rated 4 out of 5 by I have had 10 pairs of these and 1 pair of cotton candy! I love them always lasted a few months with me as a climber thats pretty good and the only reason i replaced them was scratching that i caused if a nose piece was lost i took the othwr one off and filed the nubs off just as comfortable as before!!! As for the rubber it was probly fuel on your hands or something i havent had that problem and never broke a pair in half nor has my 4 yr old August 25, 2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Cheap Rubber This is my second pair. After the rubber deteriorated on the temples leaving a black residue on the side of my head I replaced them with the same glasses thinking maybe it was a bad run.I will not make that mistake again because the rubber has deteriorated again.I like the fit in the lenses. Rated 1 out of 5 by Another One Broke Down the Middle I only used mine for sunglasses and only for a few weeks. As many others report they break down the middle. Did not sit on them, did not drop them. Not very safe August 5, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a good choice! I had two pair of these that snapped in half within a couple of weeks. I highly recommend Stihl power tools, just not these so called safety glasses. February 18, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Pros & Cons Third day wearing them, one nose piece fell off. I found it several hours later. I noticed what looked like a low grade adhesive residue where the nose pieces fit. I immediately picked up some super glue to reattach the piece that fell off & also removed the piece that didn't & did the same thing. I don't anticipate this happening again however what would Stihl have done if I wouldn't have found the missing nose piece? This was an internet purchase & to return ship would have cost almost as much as a new pair. This is a very simple fix that should be addressed immediately. October 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Customer Service! I'm on my second pair and for a inexpensive pair of safety/sunglasses I think their great. They fit well and are light. I lost my first pair. One of the rubber pads on the bridge part of the sunglasses came off. (They just pop on and off). I called STIHL and they are sending me a new pair! That's great customer service and standing behind their product. June 11, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Breaks in the middle After limited use two pair of glasses I owned broke right down the middle. this does not seem to be appropriate for safety glasses. There was no unusual wear or tear. March 23, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by These are not safety glasses. There just cool looking sunglasses. After only owning these glasses for a week they broke right down the middle. Something that would break this easy when I was just putting them on could not be considered safety glasses. I don't believe they would protect your eyes from any impact of any kind. They do block out the sun well but do not protect from impact. I would not recommend these to be used as safety glasses as a alternative for real safety glasses. January 25, 2013
